Big Britches Productions Presents Ken Ludwig’s Hilarious Comedy “Moon Over Buffalo” at the Bingen Theater

Bingen, WA — Big Britches Productions is thrilled to announce its upcoming presentation of Ken Ludwig’s side-splitting comedy, Moon Over Buffalo, directed by Lisa Roth with assistant direction by Bill Weiler. Performances will take place at the historic Bingen Theater on the following dates:

• Evening Shows: April 25, 26, May 2, 3, 9 & 10

• Doors open at 7:00 PM; Show begins at 7:30 PM

• Matinee Shows: April 27 & May 4

• Doors open at 1:30 PM; Show begins at 2:00 PM

About the Play:

Moon Over Buffalo is a fast-paced comedy about George and Charlotte Hay, fading stage actors performing repertory theater in Buffalo, New York, in 1953. Their shaky careers get a last-ditch chance at revival when they hear that famed Hollywood director Frank Capra is coming to see their matinee, hoping to cast them in his next film.

Chaos erupts as mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and theatrical disasters unfold.

Cast Highlights:

• Joe Garoutte returns to the stage as George Hay after a six-year hiatus focused on directing and producing. Audiences may remember him from his roles in Leading Ladies, Chicago, Good People, and Doubt.

• Flora McGill, making her debut on the Bingen stage as Charlotte Hay, brings a wealth of experience from acting and producing numerous shows outside the Columbia Gorge region.

• The production also features familiar audience favorites Kathleen Morrow, Matt Rankin, Reuben Betts, and Tiernan Ryden, alongside newcomers Drew Lischke, Emily Bolcik, Fiona Smith, Jill Harding, and William Lounsbery.
